Improper use of Flags from International Codo
Enclosures as in schedule.

of the 26th January 1909.
Enquiries havs boen made from the Commercial Porta
on the Station and the replies shew that there is some
possibility of confusion arising at hoy Tientsin
Shanghai Hong Kong and Jingapore as shown in the on-
closed letters and I would suggest that the hoard of
Trade be requested to bring the fact to the notice of
the Port Authorities, at these places with a view to
arrunging for a special symbol to be hoistod superior
to any flags from the International Code when they are used for purely local purposes.
No change appears to be called for at other porta
on the Station from which replies have been received.
